Magda Snowden became interested in the real estate industry through her desire to avoid working behind a desk all day. She craves work that is dynamic, and what she loves most about being an agent is the flexibility.

To be successful, Magda believes it takes patience, endurance and a constant mantra of “Never give up.” She follows a simple philosophy, both in life and business – treat people the way you want to be treated – and she believes that is the key to building effective relationships.

Originally from Vallejo in northern California, she has lived in Memphis for more than eight years. Magda loves the area for its small town feel and the down-to-earth nature of people in the Mid-South.

Magda serves as a mentor to girls between ages 14 and 17 through the Governor’s Initiative Mentoring Program. While it can be a challenge, she says her work in the program is always rewarding. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, two grandchildren and her beloved golden retriever, Mocha Latté.
