A part of the insurance industry for almost 20 years, Jim recently focused his career on real estate. A Mid-South native, Jim attended St. Dominic School, Christian Brothers High School, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Memphis State University. He lives by a simple philosophy – both personally and professionally – do the right thing, work hard, enjoy what you do, and the rest will fall in place. Jim is still licensed in the insurance business and is close to earning his Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He sits on the board of directors for the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf. Jim is also a Memphis in May Certified Barbecue Judge, a Memphis in May volunteer and a member of the Memphis Restaurant Association. Jim has four children, and his hobbies include fishing, camping, hiking, canoeing, sailing and hunting. Cooking is another passion of his, one that has garnered him awards for his homemade pecan pie.
